For teachers: geography games for students

Ten free minutes at the end of class? Put the room on the board and let the class race on flags or country shapes.

  • No login

Students open the link and pick a nickname. No accounts, yours included.

  • Up to 20 per room

A class of 25–30? Two rooms, or pairs sharing a device.

  • Pick the continents

In the room settings, or start from a Europe-only link.

  • Put it on the projector

The lobby shows a QR code and room code to join, and the leaderboard at the end.

What it isn't: you can't write your own questions or choose single flags, and nothing is saved per student. For a graded quiz, a quiz maker is the better tool. Try Europe's flags

Questions

Geography games online, answered

Is this like GeoGuessr?

No Street View here. You get a flag or a country outline and race your friends to name it. If you like geography but want something quick to play together, it’s a good fit.

How many people can play?

1–20 players in one room. Play solo to practise, 1v1 with a friend, or with a whole class.

Do I have to type the country name?

By default you pick from 4 options. The host can switch to typing the answer for a harder game.

Can we play just one continent?

Yes. The host picks which continents are in the game, for both flags and country shapes.

Can I use it with my class?

Yes, as a no-prep game for the end of a lesson. It isn’t a quiz maker: you can’t write your own questions, and there are no reports or saved scores per student.

Can I study before playing?

Yes: browse every flag and every country shape with its name, sorted by continent, then come back and race.
